How does the delivery service works?

To make use of home delivery, you must first place an order. This should be done via the internet supermarket. The online grocery stores have an extensive webshop where you can buy and place these orders. You click on the groceries you need and then you pay them (sometimes you can pay later or by invoice). After you have put all the groceries in the virtual shopping basket, you will be asked how you want to receive your groceries. You can select a pick-up point or go for the home delivery option. If you want a supermarket employee to come home to deliver the items you have to choose for a delivery time slot. For example between 13:00 and 15:00 or in the evening around 21:00.

Free groceries delivery? What are the cost?

Delivery of the groceries is often not completely free. Depending on your address and time of delivery, a price will be determined. These are so called delivery fees or service charges. Sometimes actions or discount codes / vouchers are available so free delivery become available. In addition, if you order above a certain amount, you will not have to pay the service fee. You will always know if there is a charge, so you will never be surprised. When online grocery shopping is more popular, and more consumers buy their groceries via internet, free delivery may become the standard.
